From June 2 through July 26, the riders will visit 20 HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospitals across the nation to increase public awareness of amputees as people with active lifestyles. |

Grand Opening to be held at HealthSouth East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital
Grand opening ceremonies for HealthSouth East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital will be held Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at 5652 E. Baseline Rd. Hospital tours will begin at 4 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 5 p.m.

The state-of-the-art hospital will provide a higher level of rehabilitative care to patients who are recovering from stroke and other neurological disorders, brain and spinal cord injury, hip fracture, amputations, orthopedic, cardiac and pulmonary conditions.

State-of-the-art hospital brings rehabilitation services to Mesa
HealthSouth East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, a new, 40-bed freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital, is located at 5652 E. Baseline Rd. next to A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz.
Once fully operational, HealthSouth East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital will provide the residents of the greater Phoenix area more access to high-quality and cost-effective rehabilitative services. The 47,500-square-foot, single-story hospital includes all private rooms, a spacious, on-site therapy gym and cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs
